For someone born on 15 June 2000, the birthday is the turning point. These fixed calendar examples explain the readout; the calculator above always compares your date of birth with today on your device.

Calendar age and total days answer different questions
The years/months/days display counts whole calendar months and the remaining days. It is not total days divided by 365: years and months have different lengths. Total weeks is the number of complete seven-day periods, so leftover days do not become another full week.
Enter the date of birth, not the date of the next birthday. A future or incomplete date has no valid age result. Date-only calculation does not require your time of birth and does not measure exact hours lived.
The February 29 question
This calculator clamps a month anniversary to the last available day when that month is shorter. Under that convention, 29 February 2000 to 28 February 2025 is 25 years. A January 31 anniversary similarly reaches February 28 in a non-leap year.
This is a calculation convention, not a rule for legal eligibility or birthday celebrations. If a form or organization specifies how to handle leap-day birthdays, follow that requirement.
Before copying the result into a form
Check whether the form wants completed years, an age on a particular cutoff date, or a full calendar breakdown. This tool uses today; it does not have a separate “age on date” field. A result today may differ from the age at a future event.
The calendar follows your device’s local date. Reload after midnight if you leave the page open across a birthday. Calendar days are counted independently of daylight-saving clock changes, so a short or long clock day still counts as one date.
